November 2012
So now I had to get my ass moving as to what I needed for
the surgery. My insurance required: two classes with the support groups, three
nutritionist appointments, a psyche evaluation, and EKG, a sleep study (but
didn't have to do this I just had to see my sleep doctor because I already knew
about my sleep apnea and wore a CPAP machine nightly) and an upper GI. Everything went really well, went off without
a hitch and all my appointments got me in fast and it motored along
nicely. This made me panic a little
because everything was going so well and I kept hearing all these stories about
how much other doctors and insurances were making them do. I felt weird when people asked me how I got
along with the whole process so easily!
I really had no explanation for it.
It kinda looked like I had an "IN" somewhere and was cheating
my way along. I think we just had/have
really good medical and I was very blessed with that fact.
