February 2013
Wow ... the big month is finally here! The two weeks leading up to surgery was a
complete whirlwind! I spent two weeks
stocking my cabinets with broth, jello, puddings, cream of wheat, baby food,
supplements and anything else I could think of so when I get home from the
hospital it is all there. I am not one
to depend on other people and it kinda sucks anyway. People are unpredictable just like life and I
like to be in control of myself and my surroundings. I begin eating really, really small portions
of food and tracking it all on myfitnesspal on my iPad. This really wakes me up to the fact that even
though my eating habits improved ... I still had a long way to go. It is a great tool to really, really get a
good look at what you are putting into your body! It was a real eye opener and I suggest every
one to give it a try. I took all my
measurements and pictures at this time as well.
That was a REAL friggin' EYE OPENER!
Was I really that big? Why yes
... yes I was!

One week before surgery I went out to Longhorn with my
friends from TOPS. I had a chicken dish
of some sort with veggies and stuff. I
didn't go too crazy but I did have a scoop of vanilla ice cream with hot fudge
afterwards in a martini glass! Yummers
